Insight Tuesday night

Insight Tuesday night

On Tuesday night I am part of a panel discussion on Insight on SBS about surrogacy. The episode covers several heart wrenching stories about how people became parents, and the joys and challenges of being a surrogate. It was great to take part.
While many intended parents and surrogates think in advance that surrogacy is straight forward and will be a walk in the park, the show demonstrates that things can and do go wrong, and that as always it is important to plan and to think about these things before undertaking the surrogacy journey. To plan ahead means there is less chance of panicking in a crisis.
Surrogacy is always full of ethical and moral dilemmas. Several of these are discussed on the show.
The show goes to air 8.30pm on Tuesday night on SBS One, and is repeated 1pm Wednesday on SBS One.
