Visit to CHA Fertility, Seoul Station

Last week I had the privilege of visiting the largest IVF clinic in Asia, CHA Fertility, in Seoul. It was impressive! CHA Fertility offers a one stop shop to deal with infertility issues, including having cancer specialists on tap, as needed. This is quite different to many other clinics, which refer patients to a series of other doctors. At CHA everything is done inhouse, making the whole process a lot easier for wouldbe parents.

CHA Fertility commonly have foreign patients from Mongolia and Russia, amongst other countries.

The size of the clinic says it all as a testament to their commitment to quality and innovation. In the last year they had 110,000 outpatient appointments, and undertook 500 IVF cycles per month, or 6,000 a year.

The lighting in the entrance way is shaped like sperm.

The clinic was not in the usual sterile walls, but warm and welcoming interiors.

Each of these nitrogen tanks contains 2,000 vials!

Foreign patients welcome!

When the dads have to wait, at least it is somewhere pleasant.
