Australia in top 10 for gender equality: World Economic Forum

AAP is reporting that Australia is ranked 10th in the world for gender equality for narrowing the gap between the genders.

The World Economic Forum measured four key indicators: economic participation and opportunity, educational attainment, political empowerment, and health and survival.

The US and China lag well down the list.
