Bruce Provan

Bruce is the managing director at Page Provan

He specialises in all areas of family law including:

  • Financial agreements
  • Property disputes
  • Parenting disputes
  • Mediation

Bruce has had over 34 years of experience in family law in a broad variety of matters. He obtained a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws with Honours from the University of Queensland and was admitted as a lawyer in 1991 after completing his articles of clerkship at a national firm. He became a Queensland Law Society Accredited Specialist in family law in 1999 and has practised exclusively in family law since 2002 when he returned to work for a large firm in central Brisbane gaining valuable experience.

Bruce qualified as a Nationally Accredited Mediator in November 2016 after completing the Board University Basic Mediation Course and Mediation Assessment Course.

Bruce has a particular interest in property matters. He has had a variety of professional experience including working for chartered accounting firms in tax and insolvency as well as working for a local authority in England. He has written articles for the Queensland Law Society magazine Proctor and the financial planners magazine IFA and he has presented at seminars on family law.

In his spare time, Bruce enjoys running, playing touch football, travel and spending time with his adult children.
