Court allows girl, 17 to remove breasts

The Age is reporting that the Family Court has allowed a 17 year old girl, called Alex, to have a double mastectomy, as Alex has gender dysphoria. Alex was the subject of legal controversy 5 years ago when the court allowed Alex to have hormone treatment.
