Gay war widower to be finally recognised

The recent changes to a raft of Commonwealth legislation have highlighted the plight of people such as gay war widower Edward Young who for the last 10 years has been denied the right to have a war widow’s pension paid to him simply because he was gay. Now it appears that he will be paid, according to Fairfax Media.
