IFFS Brisbane 2027: World’s Largest Fertility & Surrogacy Conference Coming to Queensland

IFFS Brisbane 2027 Surrogacy Conference: World Congress Details

The next World Congress of the International Federation of Fertility Societies is meeting in Brisbane from 18-21 April 2027.

In the words of the International Fertility Society:

“IFFS is excited to build on this momentum and partner with the Fertility Society of Australia and New Zealand (FSANZ) to deliver an extraordinary event that brings together global leaders in reproductive medicine, science, and policy.

‘We are thrilled to be heading to Brisbane for our 2027 congress’, said Marcus Horton, President of IFFS.  ‘Our meeting in Tokyo [in April 2025] was a strong and inspiring reminder of the power of collaboration, and we are confident that Brisbane will offer the perfect platform to continue this legacy and push the boundaries of innovation and inclusivity in reproductive health.’

The 2027 World Congress will focus on bold ideas, transformative research, and global collaboration – driving the field forward while honoring the longstanding mission of IFFS to improve fertility care worldwide.

Further details, including the scientific program and abstract submission dates, will be announced in the coming months.”

As the only board member of the Fertility Society of Australia and New Zealand who comes from Queensland, and in particular from Brisbane, I am absolutely thrilled that this huge conference will be coming to Brisbane, to showcase our beautiful city and to show the world that Australian IVF is at a world-leading quality.

A lot of work went into the bid by Australia to host the World Congress. I can’t wait to be able to greet international visitors to Brisbane for this World Congress.

I will be posting about the World Congress regularly, through the blog, my firm email, and via my feed on LinkedIn and my feed on X (@stephenpagelaw).
