LGBTIQ Anti-discrimination Bill to go to Committee

The Government’s Bill to remove discrimination against LGBTIQ people was referred last night to the Senate Legal and Constitutional Affairs Committee. That committee is due to report in June.

The Bill proposes to get rid of discrimination against any LGBTIQ people, except under the Marriage Act and except for unspecified State legislation.
