Richard Chisholm honoured

Former Family Court judge Richard Chisholm has received the Medal of the Order of Australia (A.M.) in the Australia Day Honours List for service to the judiciary, to the law and to legal education, particularly in the field of family law and the welfare and rights of children and young people.
An academic prior to his appointment to the Family Court, since his retirement Mr Chisholm has returned to academia, probably being best known in recent years for his research with Jennifer McIntosh about the impact on children of shared parenting regimes, which has already been referred to in court.
