SBS Insight Tuesday night about surrogacy

SBS Insight Tuesday night about surrogacy

On Tuesday night I am part of a panel discussion on SBS Insight about surrogacy. The discussion demonstrates the joys and difficulties of undertaking surrogacy.
One of the couples featured is a gay couple, Michael and Jared, who have a heart wrenching story about the difficulties of becoming parents, first going overseas, then trying locally, before finally succeeding and becoming parents to twins. The show also features their amazing surrogate, Rachel, and her extraordinary husband Simon. Rachel and Simon show the  human spirit of surrogates and their partners.
Surrogacy is full of moral and ethical dilemmas, and that is clearly demonstrated on the show.
The show goes to air at 8.30pm Tuesday on SBS One, and is repeated 1pm Wednesday.
