"When we found out that both the Australian and Canadian borders had closed to us being able to see our baby being born in Canada via our surrogate, we felt so hopeless. I had been told by friends who had gone through the international surrogacy process about Stephen Page and that he was 'the best in Australia' in relation to related legal advice. Right from the start Stephen gave us hope by instilling in us confidence through his knowledge of international surrogacy processes and how these interact in the Australian bureaucratic environment. He gave us a plan to move forward, working with officials here and leading lawyers in Canada, resulting in us being able to gain exemptions out of Australia and in to Canada.
