They can’t marry there,but they can be on the birth certificate

New York’s Board of Health has voted to allow married lesbian couples, who cannot marry in New York state, to be listed as parents on the birth certificate, according to NY1. Gay couples on the other hand can only be recognised as parents if they both adopt.
