Last week I had the privilege of hosting the chair of the American Bar Association’s Artificial Reproductive Technologies Committee, Mr Rich Vaughn, at my office.

Rich was on a holiday to Australia with family and literally had a flying visit to Brisbane. Rich is a world renowned surrogacy lawyer based in Los Angeles who practises solely in surrogacy- with 400 babies born a year.

We discussed issues to do current surrogacy regulation in Australia,as well as international issues, such as the proposed Hague surrogacy convention.
